Denbies is one of the largest vineyards and wineries in England and has been making wine since 1986 producing premium wines across all styles.
In 2010 Litmus Wines were appointed to run the winemaking at Denbies and improve sales penetration. In this time there has been a noticeable improvement in wine quality and significant growth in both domestic and export sales.
In 2011 a joint contract winemaking service, producing wines for vineyard owners, was established and now has over twenty clients.

Viticultural consultant Duncan McNeill oversees the vines with the aim of improving vigour, quality and yields. Some of the vines are over 30 years old now and, although consistently produce excellent fruit, need love and attention. Litmus Wines Production Manager, Matthieu Elzinga, is in charge of winemaking at the winery plus the contract winemaking service.
